Our Halloween

Halloween has come and gone and the boys have already stated ideas on next years costumes. We had a wonderful visit with John's dad during the holiday. It is always such a rich experience for the boys to spend time with grandparents and great grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins... as it gives them a sense of belonging and family beyond our little home on Saint Andrews Dr. The boys have truly been blessed this year with the visit of Grandpa Radford, as well as spending time with Aunt Joy, Uncle Bill, Billy, Daniel, Allison and Carrie over the past few months. All relatives we are not fortunate enough to see on a regular basis. Back to Halloween...We enjoyed our evening, with family, over a chili supper, trick or treating with the cousins, and candy sorting and dividing. Candy sorting and dividing is hysterical and quite a ritual to say the least. I know my children love this holiday for the simplicity of it which can be summed up in two words...Costumes and CANDY.....My love of the holiday can be summed up in two words as well.. Family and Tradition. Someday I hope the boys will look back with not only fond memories of all of the costumes they've dressed up in but also look back and treasure all of the time we spent as a family, memories we made, and traditions we established special to our little family.

I have no words for this....it just makes me laugh!!
