Well, we are on attempt number....I do not even know. Nicholas has been my potty training challenge. The other three boys...done in 2-3 days no fuss no problems. So I just assumed...we turn three we get it done. That has not been true! I am now on a race to beat the clock before age four. I refuse to let him get to 4 untrained. Now granted, having the business of having three older brothers has not been my friend...meaning the business of more kids...but it has also been my excuse when training has not gone smoothly.
Today, we had a great day. However, at one point Nicholas comes out with rather bulgy looking undies. I asked him what was in them and he informed me "toilet paper". So of course I chuckled and asked him why...his logic was that if he forgot to use the toilet...then the toilet paper would just soak up his pee and he would still be accident free. (since the underwear were not wet)..Sometimes to smart for his own good.
So hopefully tomorrow will go just as well in the push to get Nicholas potty trained.
One last comment...when Nicholas saw the pics I posted of him..he just giggled as he had no idea "The Incredibles" were on his backside. His three year old joy brings so much joy in me...it is just so innocent...I wish I could bottle that or just freeze him in this age...I love it!!
